If you think it's worth signing a 2-year contract for a budget-friendly phone, T-Mobile is offering the Prism on May 6th starting at Best Buy. The Prism is a 3.5" HVGA Touchscreen device that will run Gingerbread. So far we know it will cost 19.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate - but Best Buy does away with those, right?
The Prism will not only be available at Best Buy, but also at Walmart on the 9th, and select T-Mobile dealers on the 23rd. The Prism only costs $149.99 not being subsidized. I personally would take the risk and buy without a contract because you could always sell a new phone if you found out 2 months down the road that you disliked it.
